Access Data and Server Logs
When you access this website, technically necessary access data is recorded in server log files (IP address, date and time, page accessed, referring page, browser used, and operating system). This data is used solely for the secure operation of the website and is deleted after a maximum of 30 days. It is not merged with other data sources.

Newsletter
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the email address you provided to deliver the newsletter to you. Subscription uses what’s known as the Double Opt-In procedure: after signing up, you receive a confirmation email with a link you need to click before your email address is added to the newsletter list. This ensures that only people who genuinely want the newsletter receive it.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. An unsubscribe link is included at the bottom of every newsletter email.
The following data is stored when you subscribe to the newsletter:
- your email address
- the date of subscription and the IP address at the time of subscription (as evidence of consent)
- your preferred language (German or English)
- the source of subscription (e.g., “tss-website”)
This data is stored as long as you remain a newsletter subscriber. After unsubscribing, it is removed from the active list; for legal reasons (evidence of the original consent), it may remain in a separate list for a limited time.
Sign-up Form (WPForms)
The newsletter sign-up form on this website is built with the WordPress plugin WPForms. When the form is submitted, your email address is sent directly to Brevo (see next section); no separate persistent storage in the WordPress database takes place.
Newsletter Delivery and Email Management via Brevo
For managing the newsletter and sending the associated emails (confirmation email, regular newsletter issues), we use the service Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France).
Brevo processes your email address, the associated sign-up metadata, and statistical delivery information (open and click data of sent emails) as a data processor. Brevo is subject to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is GDPR-compliant.
